The Foundry Mission Statement
Our mission is to bring innovative manufacturing technologies within reach of the residents of the North East Kingdom.
Our goal is to:
Nurture individual business enterprises in the North East Kingdom.
Work with schools to attract youth to the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math, using a hands-on approach.
Build a community where the arts and the sciences can work together and freely share ideas.
Have a long-term positive social and economic impact on the North East Kingdom.
Originally formed as a group of friends with a common interest in tinkering and design, The Foundry gained official non-profit 501-C3 status in 2015.
The Foundry has since formed a partnership with Lyndon Institute, allowing the use the Institute's space and equipment, greatly expanding both of our capabilities and offerings to the Lyndon area community, and indeed to the entire Northeast Kingdom.
For this, we wish to thank Lyndon Institute for its generous support. And we look forward to many years of enabling unfettered creativity in the people of northern Vermont.
